FAQ

Can I bring kids to the wedding?

This is a child free-evening! Our vision for the wedding is one for adults only and we hope that you’ll respect that.

Can I bring a +1?

“While we’d love to have your guests attend, we want to keep the wedding as intimate as possible with only immediate friends and family present for our special day. Thank you for understanding our wishes.”

Do I have to mail back my RSVP or can I RSVP online?

We've made it as easy as possible for you to RSVP online! On the homepage of this website is an RSVP link. Click the link and simply enter your name and you can RSVP on the next page. If you RSVP and later realize you can not attend, PLEASE give us a call and let us know.

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel?

We do not have shuttle service to and from the hotel. We strongly suggest using Uber/Lyft for convenient transportation

What should I wear

I’m sure you look great in anything you have! It’s a formal event, so just wear whatever you own that you’d wear to a fancier party! Typically, out of respect for the bride, guests don’t wear whites to weddings.”

Can I take pictures during the ceremony/post on social media?

We ask that guest respectfully NOT take pictures or video during the ceremony. There will be a professional photography/videography team present that will capture the best shots and these images will be shared with you. However, during the reception feel free to SNAP AWAY!

What kind of food will be served?

This is an African-themed reception so the cuisine will be exquisite! There will be both African and American delicacies for everyone to enjoy

Will you start on time?

Contrary to your beliefs, this wedding will start ON TIME! Once the ceremony begins the doors will be locked to minimize distractions until the end of the ceremony.
